Tara Burns

Performer

 

Tara Lee Burns moved to New Haven, Conn. after living and dancing in NYC for seven years. She has been performing, teaching and creating with Adele Myers and Dancers since 2006 and has performed throughout the US and Europe with various choreographers including Alexandra Beller, Kelly Drummond Cawthon and Marjani Forté. Mrs. Burns has taught at Jacobs Pillow, Connecticut College and the formerly known Dance New Amsterdam in NYC to name a few and she currently teaches at Educational Center for the Arts in downtown New Haven. Her own work has been performed throughout Florida, Connecticut, NYC and in the UK. Tara received a BFA in Dance Performance from the University of Florida (Summa Cum Laude) and an MA in Digital Performance from The University of Hull, UK. www.taraleeburns.com

Raphaëlle Kessedjian

Performer

 

A native of France, Raphaëlle Kessedjian received her dance training at the Centre choregraphique Veronique Thery, The Rick Odums Institute in France and at the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance on a full scholarship in New York City. She has been a member of Graham II, Nu Dance Theater, Caliince Dance, and was a guest artist with the Martha Graham Dance Company for their Italian Production "Cercando Picasso". She has performed work from Robert Battle, Pearl Lang, Stuart Hodes, Peggy Lyman and Virginie Mécene. A certified Pilates and Gyrotonic® Instructor, she currently teaches Graham Based technique at Peridance Capezio Center in New York City. Raphaëlle joined Adele Myers and Dancers in 2012.

Kellie Lynch

Performer

 

Kellie Ann Lynch is a New Haven-based dancer who has been joyfully performing and creating with Adele Myers and Dancers since 2008. She has had the great privilege of working with Doug Elkins Choreography, Etc for a number of years; and is currently working with Kate Weare Company. She is a co-founder and Artistic Director of the New Haven-based, Elm City Dance Collective, whose mission is to provide an experiential approach to dance creation, education and performance. Kellie’s choreography has been commissioned, produced and performed throughout the Northeast including at Bates Dance Festival as an Emerging Choreographer. As a Guest Artist, she has taught at several colleges and universities in New England including Connecticut College and Wesleyan University. Kellie holds a BA in Dance from Rhode Island College and a MFA in Dance from Smith College.

Amber Morgan

Performer

 

A proud Kentuckian, Amber Morgan, graduated from The School for the Creative and Performing Arts and later went to earn her BFA from SUNY Purchase College. She has had the pleasure of working with choreographers such as Bill T. Jones, Lucca Veggeti, Douglas Dunn, Sidra Bell, Danielle Desnoyers, Cori Kresge, Nora Petroliunas, Adele Myers, Sophie Maguire, Oliver Steele, and Yung­-li Chen; including an apprenticeship with Andrea Miller’s company Gallim. Amber currently lives in Brooklyn, NY, and makes sweet dance moves for The Pharmacy Project and Adele Myers and Dancers.
