Commissioned by the South Miami Dade Cultural Arts Center (SMDCAC), The Pink Parade is the visually stunning, heart pounding opening act of the evening-length feminist dance theater project — T.W.I.S.T. An acronym for These Women in Space and Time, T.W.I.S.T is a National Dance Project Production grant recipient and offers a variety of engaging acts of female solidarity on and off the stage. Performed by six female athletes of the heart who embody Myers’ signature fusion of personal theatricality and robust physicality , The Pink Parade will be presented at SMDCAC September 10-12, 2021.
