South Miami Dade Cultural Arts Center,

Adele Myers and Dancers is a Miami-based nationally acclaimed female dance theater company in residence in the SMDCAC Lab Theater. During the two-year commissioned residency, the company will create their new work-T.W.I.S.T. (These Women in Space and Time) featuring robust physicality, film, visual art and audience-friendly interaction delivered with wit and personal theatricality. The two-year residency will culminate in the evening-length World Premiere of T.W.I.S.T during the SMDCAC 2021-2022 season. In addition to the SMDCAC commission, Adele Myers and Dancers is a recipient of the prestigious National Dance Project Production grant supporting the development and national tour of T.W.I.S.T following the premiere.
